Just a reminder for our Rigby Babywearing Meeting tomorrow Wednesday, April 13th from 9:30 to 11:00.  We are going to be meeting at Angela's house since Marie has a new little baby.  Angela's address is 455 Claremore Drive.

Thursday you can meet the Treasure Valley Babywearers and one of our Idaho Babywearer's leaders in Boise in the afternoon! Just comment on this post and we'll give you the information (or post it here as soon as we have all the details worked out)!

We also have one of our great Babywearing Guru's down in Pocatello this Saturday April 16th from 9 am - 1 pm at an Emergency Preparedness Fair at the The Highland stake center, 2160 Satterfield Drive.  Kimber and her husband Sam will be teaching an emergency babywearing class and will be available to answer your babywearing questions.  They will be doing a presentation at 10:30 and will be there the rest of the time for you to try carriers and ask any question you want!

My daughter is almost seven months old. Is it too late to start babywearing?

Mama- 7 months is a great age to start babywearing. Their are lots if great baby carriers that will allow you to put your baby on your back so that you can get stuff done and have a happy baby at the same time. I especially love it when grocery shopping because once my babies were old enough to sit in the cart- they wouldn't actually sit in it. They were constantly trying to stand up in the seat and the seat belt did nothing to prevent this from happening. So I would put baby In a carrier in front or back and do my shopping. There are so many reasons why babywearing is great for an "older" baby.
